A Jay Leno Fave: Marjorie Johnson Tests Gluten-Free Baking
September 4, 2010 by Amy Leger | G+ Amy LegerMarjorie Johnson recently made the rounds at the Minnesota State Fair. The blue-ribbon-award-winning baker and favorite guest with Jay Leno took a stab at the new gluten-free baking category at the State Fair.
She talked about it a few times this week. I first heard it on MyTalk 107’s Lori & Julia show on Monday. She mentioned how she was able to enter the gluten-free baking category this year. So she went for it and had to come up with a recipe– and she won!! She made Gluten-Free Orange Seed Crackers and earned yet another blue ribbon.
Then this morning she was on KARE 11’s Saturday morning show talking through the recipe. You can see the recipe and the video here (actually I’m hoping you can see the video– it wouldn’t play for me).
Listen to Marjorie on Lori & Julia here, just find Monday, August 30th date and click on “hour 2”.
