10 months ago in this very space I was talking about Julie Wilbert: her new diagnosis of celiac disease and incorporating that into her studies as a graduate student. It lead her to stopping by our home to do more cooking for people with celiac disease. I blogged about that day back on May 6th. Wilbert’s vision has finally come to a conclusion.
Multi-Medium Celiac Research
Wilbert’s extensive work looking into the disease itself and the lifestyle change that results in a celiac diagnosis is now displayed on her own website www.celiacfiles.com. You can find reliable celiac resources on there, or head over to her blog for a more personal look at the daily life as she researches and personally navigates celiac disease.
Wilbert also just posted the videos she did for part of her research: It included a shopping expedition with a family, an interview with Bittersweet Bakery’s owner Lareen Narva and then also her story from our home as I made Chicken Chow Mein for the family. You can see all of the videos here.
