I had a great experience this weekend at Maggiano’s Little Italy located in Edina, Minnesota. It was the first time I had been there. I didn’t go there with my celiac daughter, instead I was with girlfriends, but I was so curious to find out more about their gluten-free pasta — I decided to go for it!
Right on their menu near the pasta section, it states “Gluten-Free Pasta Options Prepared Upon Request.” While I was ordering, I also asked the server about which sauces were gluten-free. He told me all of their sauces were gluten-free. So I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Broccoli – but with the gluten-free noodles. It was very good!
I had a half order and I still had enough to take home for lunch the next day. I only had water to drink and my bill came to $13.00. Not too bad for a dinner out! It is a chain restaurant, so even if you’re not in Minnesota, you should check Maggiano’s website to see where there is one that’s closer to you. I highly recommend it.
