Yummy Flourless Chocolate Cake at The Liffey
I stumbled upon a fun and tasty treat just “kitty corner” from the “X” last week! The Flourless Chocolate Cake at The Liffey Irish Pub!
I’d never been to this establishment before, mostly because I don’t often get to St. Paul. While I was in downtown with my parents to watch the Boys State High School Hockey Tournament, I went out to lunch at The Liffey which is inside the Holiday Inn at 175 West 7th Street. And I couldn’t pass up the dessert I saw.
Take a look. The Flourless Chocolate cake has a huge layer of cream tucked right in the middle and a chocolate sauce to go with it. I asked the server if it also was gluten-free, and she checked with the chef who said yes.
It was so good. I’m not an official food critic or anything but it really was good! Perfect for the chocolate fix you need! Whether it is a night out on the town or an after-concert treat, the Liffey is really close and clearly has something for people with gluten-free needs.
