Science Project Success!

I just found out my niece, Avery, got an A+ on her science project showcasing celiac disease!  I showcased her ideas and the project itself in a post this morning.  She had the big show Wednesday night and found out she aced it!  WOO HOO!

Her picture shows her holding the “healthy villi” my brother helped her make using a Koosh ball and PVC pipe. But you can also see her posterboard behind her which shows diagrams and charts of celiac-related information.  Congratulations!  I hope people learned a few things!

  1. Hurray for Avery!

Last year, not long after my son and I were diagnosed, my daughter did her science fair project on gluten-free bread, ended up taking it to the AgriScience Fair Nationals. She interviewed Judy down at Cooqi as part of her research – we need to get down there again to say hello. 🙂
