Planning a gluten-free friendly trip? New York is apparently your kind of town, according to Glutenfreetravelsite.com. The site solicited help from the celiac community to give their reviews about places they stopped at during their travels. New York was considered the most celiac-friendly.
“Always eager to be on the cutting edge, New York restaurants have embraced the fast-growing celiac population by either developing their own gluten-free menus or offering to tailor items on their regular menu when possible,” the site reported Tuesday. The site also described the city as having “small, independent neighborhood restaurants” with a gluten-free flair.
Congratulations New York! Minneapolis is pretty good too guys! But apparently they have a little work to do to catch up! You can always post your travel reviews at glutenfreetravelsite.com.
