I traveled in South AFrica for two plus weeks and found all restaurants very accommodating to my gluten, soy and dairy free diet. I arrived in Johanesburg and traveled to Krueger National Park for 5 nights, flew to Victoria Falls and then on to Cape Town and up the West Coast.
I also traveled to China ona Gluten Free Trip with Bob and Ruth's. On the Yantzee River the pastery chef made fabulous deserts. we had several to choose from each night.
New Zealand is fairly easy to navigate. I planned my own bus trip and what amazed me were the lunches available along the way. Lamb sandwiches with mint on gluten free bread!!
i just came back from Disney. i now joke that when i'm tired of cooking i'm just going to book a hotel for a week at Disney. They are the best with special diets. A little heavy on the salt, however.
So happy travels...........be brave......take those snacks along and cans of salmon for emergency lunches.
